Common three-dimensional processes including stereolithography, resourceful laser sintering, fused deposition modeling, and polyjet displaying are described and benchmarked for prolongation of a three-sided brick with protrusions and depressions of several sizes; metrology of 3D printed tools indicates that tolerances change by routine though are typically on a sequence of 0.2 mm with a aspect harshness of 50 μm. Design discipline are supposing per geometric pattern and tolerances, mold design, and element properties; compared to required cosmetic partial designs, 3D copy affords larger complexity but combined cost. Manufacturing economics are also modeled to yield superintendence to record strategy, production strategy, and risk mitigation.
